Mike Giunta DPT, CSCS
Regional Clinical Director
Originally from Philadelphia, Mike became interested in the profession of physical therapy during high school. After observing various settings, he knew his true passion was to treat athletes like himself. Mike enrolled at Ithaca College in Upstate New York both to study Physical Therapy, and play lacrosse. While on campus, Mike also got involved in many other activities including giving lectures on Back Safety to students, and participating in speaking contests. Mike was also a member of one of the most successful Ithaca Lacrosse classes in school history and played in the National Semifinals in 2008.
After completing his undergraduate degree Mike embarked on a path to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy through Ithaca college in Rochester, NY. In the meantime Mike also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and worked with athletes from very young ages, to those training for college and professional sports combines. Mike takes pride in teaching linear speed, and agility mechanics, weight loss, and diet, all while treating every patient like the athlete they are. After completing his Doctorate, Michael moved to Southern California to begin his career as a Physical Therapist. Michael now is working to pursue his Orthopedic Specialist Certification. In his spare time, Michael enjoys going the beach, snowboarding, and most importantly, staying in touch with his family.
